Stop Running n Start Thinking

I would say Letter Writing is the art which is extinct or no more used. When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone? Was it yesterday? Was it last year? Or was it last decade?

Most of us will reply as a “NO” to the above questions.

I definitely accept the our lives are running with the technologies and advancements side by side , but in the course of time we left behind many other beautiful things.

If we ask a person why have you stopped writing letters? The simply answer is why should wait for days to send/receive a message through letters where u can it do it in a single click (Email).
How many of us know what we have lost from this?

I still remember the happiness of my mom when I tried to write a simple letter for her in my native language… And I also remember that my letter was filled with spelling mistakes and my weird hand writing… then what made my mom happy? The effort I made to write a letter or express myself to her.

Now- a –days everybody are staying far away from our parents… Once in a while we hear our parents saying.” We want to see you”. And the reply we give is “Mom I sent my picture to your email... Just have a look at it”. Is that what mom meant? Or is it what we think?

When we can’t share our happiness with our loved ones , then we have to ask one question.

What are we running for, where are we running to?
One little example on how children are feeling lonely when we are running to make their lives better:

With a timid voice and idolizing eyes, the little boy greeted his father as he returned from work.
Greatly surprised, but giving his boy a glaring look, the father said: "Look, sonny, not even your mother knows that. Don't bother me now, I'm tired."
"But Daddy, just tell me please! How much you make an hour, “the boy insisted. The father, finally giving up, replied: "Twenty dollars per hour."
"Okay, Daddy. Could you loan me ten dollars?" the boy asked.
Showing his restlessness and positively disturbed, the father yelled: "So that was the reason you asked how much I earn, right? Go to sleep and don't bother me anymore!"
It was already dark and the father was meditating on what he said and was feeling guilty. Maybe he thought, his son wanted to buy something. Finally, trying to ease his mind, the father went to his son's room.
"Are you asleep, son?" asked the father.
"No, Daddy. Why?" replied the boy, partially asleep.
"Here's the money asked for earlier, " the father said.
"Thanks, Daddy!" rejoiced the son, while putting his hand under his pillow and removing some money.
"Now I have enough! Now I have twenty dollars!" the boy said to his father, who was gazing at his son, confused at what his son had just said. "Daddy, could I buy you for an hour?"

Is this the life about… don’t we have time for the people who we love. I really do understand that in this busy and competitive world we have to run for lives . But remember one thing however busy you are, give time to your loved ones. It doesn't matter whether you give them 5 – 10 mins in your day, but I can promise you that, those 10 mins will surely bring change in you and your loved ones life…

"Stop running and  look at your loved ones, they need you"
